Happy Halloween!!!

We had great fun at Halloween this year going with a pirate theme! At church we had a 'trunk or treat' activity so we decorated our car with treasure and made a pirate chest. Lee was able to get all creative with the treasure chest while I downloaded a whole load of hilarious pirate music!!! Isabelle insisted on dressing up as a cat so my mum joined her! They look so cute!!

Our gorgeous cat - Purple!

When Lee moved over from the States, he brought his two cats with him - Purple and Haze. Haze settled really well at his mum and dad's, helped by the large garden for him to play around in, whereas Purple really struggled. Haze is a bit of an attention hog so we decided to bring Purple over to mine before we got married to see if she liked this place better. She absolutely loved it and is not at all bothered by going outside so the flat is perfect. She is a bit wary of Isabelle, but has never been around children. She is slowly warming to her though. Now that Lee is here all the time, she is happy as ever and SOOOOO CUTE!!

Honeymoon in Crete!

We got married on the 8th August 2008 then went on our honeymoon on the 12th August. It was absolutely amazing! The weather was gorgeous and we travelled around on a cute yellow scooter to all the sights we wanted to see. It was lovely to just chill out on the beach or the side of the pool as well. We also had some amazing greek food! We were glad to get home to see the gorgeous Isabelle though!

Unfortunately on 16th September, Lee's dad, Alan, lost his battle with cancer. We will miss him so much but have great memories. He was an amazing man who showed love to everyone and was a true gentleman. I am personally grateful for the amazing job Alan and Doreen did, raising their son, Lee. In memory of Alan Gray.

This is a picture of Isabelle on her first day of school at Grove Road School, Harrogate. She was a bit unsure, but in her defence she had fallen in the playground and grazed her knee! Not a great start!! Doing much better now and enjoying the work, making new friends and school dinners!! Grandma and Grandad picked her up, as mummy had started a new job at a school in knaresborough, working with special needs children.

Well, we did it and got married!!! The day was wonderful and what made it perfect was that Lee's dad was able to make it despite his health issues. We both couldn't stop smiling! We were overwhelmed by the amount of people who travelled for our special day. We went on honeymoon to Crete for two weeks afterwards, which was fantastic!!
Thank you so much for marrying me Lee! You are wonderful and I love you tons!! Looking forward to the years ahead of us!!
